Bloody hell, I gave up trying to film this place with my stupid cellphone camera.  I didn't film HALF of the stuff - it got the better of me towards the end, I have to admit.  Completely overwhelming, God knows how the kids felt about it.  Ewan said that he would have 'brilliant dreams' tonight ... I should think so.  This place would keep me busy in dreams for months to come.  I've never seen so much stuff under one roof that you can get for kiddies (and not so small people) and easy to walk around, no mad rush, no thousands of people.  I'm sure it will start to get busier towards Christmas, so I need to book a trip out there sometime in November (any excuse).

Whitlingham Country Park

Went for a drive this morning up the road to Whitlingham (very close to Norwich city centre actually) ... this is a nice place to go for a stroll, picnic, boat ride or whatever. It's run by the Council and only costs parking fee. There's a cafe/restaurant where you can get food but we took along some snacks and drinks. 

We saw loads of people walking dogs, or jogging/running around the Broads.  It's so safe and such a pleasure to take the kiddies somewhere out in the fresh air, so close to home, for free.   

HISTORY LESSON:
Once part of the Crown Point Estate owned by the famous Colman family (Colman's Mustard), the site features the ruin of a monk's manor house, ancient chalk workings and evidence of Palaeolithic and Neolithic flint-knapping.

At the movies with Picasso

We went to movies yesterday at Castle Mall to see How to Train your Dragon 2* ... whilst we were waiting to go in, Ewan decided to sit in front of the massive suspended Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie posters and draw the figures. That's what real artists do, folks.

Knights of Middle England

Below is the video of the Knights of Middle England show.

Apologies for the camera work but after 5 minutes of holding the camera in the air to video over peoples heads and the ropes, and also not being able to not really see the camera's screen in the bright light make it hard to do a video up to my usual standards of awesomeness.

Sound also seems to be about 3 seconds behind the video.

Hopefully this will all be fixed in the completed family video.

I don't know ... but I think we got enough to put on icecream or just gobble up in mouthfulls as treats (yes, I've washed them very carefully, Kevin).
