Lara

We met up with Baz and Lara at his flat, she was asleep when we arrived but woke up seconds later, when we crept in to look at her in her cot.  She is just the cutest little bundle of joy!  I just wanted to squeeze her ... here are a few pics:

She'd just woken up, so half asleep - Faye was crying for the first few minutes while she was holding her ... so sweet.

She is crawling now and also standing up - quite stable and not at all wobbly.  She has two bottom teeth.

Time for some beans on toast ... mmm.  her fave breakfast.

We all had a chance feeding her.

Here's a little video:

Bacton Beach

Lovely day out at Bacton Beach - it was a bit of a bitch to find where we were supposed to park.  We drove backwards and forwards and eventually stopped on the side of the road for the nth time to decide what to do next ... when up walks a lovely young policeman, 'are you lost ladies?' he asks in his south Wales accent ... he was so helpful and after his advice we were able to find the right place to park.    It's a nice beach but there were no ablutions close by, so that would have been a problem if we'd all needed to do a number two.   The girls and Ewan spent most of the time in the water, it was lovely and warm, very clear.  Just a bit too pebbly for my sensitive feet  - so next time we'll try and find a more sandy beach, so I can paddle out further.  [As always click on image to see larger picture]
