Double thumbs up!
So chuffed for Andrew, Leigh and the boys today - Andrew got offered the job he wanted at Protea, Lead Developer, to start on the 24th September. It's in the centre of Norwich with dedicated parking, so he doesn't have to worry about the extra cost of that. Really awesome news ... well done!

Scott clan settling in
Well it's two weeks tomorrow since Andrew, Leigh and the boys arrived in the UK ... crazy times!
They've organised themselves a sturdy people carrier and today Daniel started his first day at Manorfield in Reception class (Acorns) with his teacher, Miss Holmes. He seemed excited to get going and I hope he adapts well to school life in the UK - it really is a great school. The staff are very caring and facilities are top notch.
He is being eased into it at the moment (same as Ewan) - so for the first few days he goes from 1 to 3pm, then next week we has two days starting at 11.45 to 3pm, then on Thursday he starts a full day, which is from 0850 to 3pm.

Of course, mustn't forget Faye and Ewan who are also starting a new school year with different teachers. I hope their first day went well, I will collect them later on.
Now that the kids are at school, we can sort of get into a routine - it was all over the place while the holidays were on - but now it will settle into a rhythm. I've had a lot of work over the past few weeks, hope it continues. Allyson is doing well - even though she was hospitalised a week ago- she looks well and baby is fine. We went to see her yesterday, after getting more uniform and clothing in Norwich. I've still got to take the Scott's into Norwich on the bus - might do that next week, once Daniel is at school full time.

Andrew, Leigh and the boys - first full day in the UK
The weather was beautiful today. Kevin was working but this weekend is a bank holiday, so he will have more time to spend with everyone. We took it easy today - although first thing in the morning Hayzel and I took the van back to Norwich.
Daniel plays so nicely with Ewan and Faye, who put up Ewan's tent in the morning. It was wall to wall entertainment for Daniel and WIlliam - he even slept for an hour and a half while Hayzel took Andrew and Leigh out to do a bit of shopping in the late morning.
Poor Daniel slipped down our stairs and grazed his back, it looks almost like Andrew's tattoo. Then later on William blixsemed into an open window ... so they both look like they've been a few rounds with a boxer. Despite the einas, they both just carried on charging around and didn't seem to bother at all.
We took a little walk out into the fields later on in the afternoon (before Kevin came home) and then got kids all bathed and fed before our Friday night movie ritual.
