Took a drive out to the beach today - the wind is still a bit chilly but it was lovely to get out in the sun.
Walberswick is famous in August holidays for crabbing ... the place is packed with kids and families catching crabs from the jetty.
Rape seed - fields are all flush with blooms now, think Dave will arrive just in time to see it before it fades towards end of May.

Lara comes to visit
We were lucky enough to have Lara come and visit again this month and this time for two nights. She was such an angel, no trouble at all and we all loved having her here. The first of many more overnight stays to come.
Here's some photos (these were taken with my phone, so 'scuse the quality of the images)
Good morning ...
Helping Faye in her newly decorated and furnished bedroom ... so posh, thanks to mum and dad.
Big yummy dinner, followed by a lovely bath from Auntie Hayzel ...

Long overdue update
Well, right to it then.
David and Mags
Yep, things are on the go! Their house is on the market. Dave arrives here on the 4th May and starts work on the 7th (I think) ... can't quite believe it. Mags will hang about a bit in SA to finalise the selling of their house, which hopefully goes through quickly. More updates as and when things happen.
Andrew and Leigh
Have found a bigger house, also in Long Stratton but on the other side of the A140 and move in on the day that Dave arrives from the UK! Yikes. Going to be hectic couple of weeks, but great news that Andrew and Leigh have found a lovely home, with more space for their boys and them.
School holidays
Are in full swing - not that I've had much of a holiday yet but it's nice to be able to lie in for a bit in the mornings. I've eventually managed to get a referral for my eyes to see the Opthalmologist - in June - so relieved about that.
Allyson
Has managed (with Andrew's help) to secure a house share rental and she moves in this coming Sunday. Really pleased for her and hope it's a pleasant place to live - we can visit at least, which is the first time in a long time. She has also applied for a job and is trying every day to get her life back on track. We have made appointment for her to see the dentist at the beginning of May, so hopefully she will get her front teeth sorted out. She's such a lovely looking young woman, it's a pity that her teeth have fallen into disrepair.
Took some photos
It's a lovely blue and sunny day today, although the wind is still a bit on the chilly side. Just to show the gorgeous daffodils that are growing in the middle of our estate and the rape seed field across the way behind our house.
A boy with our daft dog.
A bishy barnaby (ladybird) that sat still patiently waiting for me to focus.
The walk back to our house (the light coloured house on the right) - I even managed to climb back over the ditch on our plank ...
