Down on 't farm
Hayzel got some lovely healthy tomatoe seedlings from a friend at her work a couple of weeks ago. I transplanted them out this morning into their own pots with a cane support, so I hope we get some fruit from them soon!

Country Dancing* Manorfield, June 2015
It was awful weather today, very overcast and cold (the rain threatened to completely wash everything out but mercifully stayed back). I froze my butt off. Anyway, I took pictures and a few videos with the cellphone, which I've strung together ...
That's Ewan in the middle (left of the line), with Grace Toll (his 'dancing' partner). A lot of the other photos are so dark, you can't make him out properly. Sorry.
* More like freestyle moshing.

SA Festival 2015 - another point of view :)
Lovely day out, the weather was great - did a little wonky windswept video and some photos with the motorola ...
Kev and I seem to be duplicating our posts at the moment, so we'll have to come up with a system of assigning a photo/videographer for the day/event kinda thing in future! Just so you know, if I'm allocated the designated photo/videographer job, I will need money for a major upgrade :)

South African Fete
After a whole year long wait, the South Africa fete came around again. I was psyched, I was amped, I was going to eat 2 boerie rolls and maybe a bit of poetijie.
Good job I didn't. The boerie rolls were horrid, due to the queues of soon to riot ex-pat South Africans (because they were taking so long), they rushed the boeriewors braaing and they were raw, they had run out of tomato and onion relish, the boerewors was too fatty and gristlie and the sausage helping was to small for the size of the roll.
Not to mention at GBP 3.50 for a boerie roll it was probably the most expensive one ever (conservatively ZAR 56.00)! GBP 5.00 for some poetjie makes it also and expensive stew (another candidate for the Conservative Party at ZAR 80.00) .
Good thing I only had one. Also no Zamaleks!!! A braai with no South African beer? Whattt?
As Tim said, "Only South African's would rip off another South African". All for the good of the South African Church in Norfolk.
Don't get me wrong, it was nice to get out and be sitting outside and chilling. Weather was good and..
There was Paul the Zulu dancer! (Yes, I do see the irony).

Meyer kids didn't partake this time.
