Thanks everyone ...

Well I'm into my fourth day of recovery and feeling stronger all the time  - just hope I am going to be able to use this damn leg to drive next week, cos I have to go back to hospital on Tuesday afternoon to get the dressings changed.   Oh well, will cross that bridge ...

The surgery went well, the doctor reckons the wound on the back of my leg is a straight line, I'll see next week.   The most stressful part was the CT scan and having to lie still for 45 mins clutching my chest - that was really hard work!   The site around where I had the lymph node biopsies done is still quite sore and to be honest I wasn't expecting that to be so uncomfortable - considering it's such a tiny wound.   Weird.

Thanks to everyone for their wishes and messages  - it brightened me up a lot when I was home and I was so grateful to be able to come home the evening of the ops - that was great.  Having Hayzel here with me for Thursday and Friday was also really nice, unfortunately Ewan has also been off sick this week with a bit of flu and a cough but I think he's on the mend now too.  Thanks also to Kevin for taking time off work to care for us all - it was very much needed, I can assure you.

Okay, enough of all that.

Ally and Dave celebrate birthdays soon ... more fun stuff to look forward to hey?

Keep dry all you people in Gauteng ... geez, I can't believe those videos and pictures of the flooding it looked like a tsunami.   Be careful in the rain, African weather isn't for sissies.
