Bacton Beach

Lovely day out at Bacton Beach - it was a bit of a bitch to find where we were supposed to park.  We drove backwards and forwards and eventually stopped on the side of the road for the nth time to decide what to do next ... when up walks a lovely young policeman, 'are you lost ladies?' he asks in his south Wales accent ... he was so helpful and after his advice we were able to find the right place to park.    It's a nice beach but there were no ablutions close by, so that would have been a problem if we'd all needed to do a number two.   The girls and Ewan spent most of the time in the water, it was lovely and warm, very clear.  Just a bit too pebbly for my sensitive feet  - so next time we'll try and find a more sandy beach, so I can paddle out further.  [As always click on image to see larger picture]

  1. It was a lovely day. The boys loved it and told Andrew about their trip to the beach.
