Daytripping for the Anniversary

Yep, today is Hayzel & Kevin's 11th wedding anniversary ... well done to you guys!   Here's to many, many more years of wedded bliss.

We all went into Norwich this morning on the bus for a stroll around after a lekker breakfast at Debenhams,

One of the rings, at the top is £52,000 … the one I liked was at the front and only +- £29,000

Looking at old stuff

We ended up at Norwich Cathedral.  Oh what an absolutely beautiful place!     Here are some of the photos from today's little trip out, taken with Hayzels Canon and some from my cellphone.

There are loads of trees in full pink blossom around Norwich at the moment, so pretty!

Photos do not do the stained glass windows justice, they are stunning and Norwich Cathedral has a lot of them, all in gorgeous condition.

The vaulted ceiling is truly something to see, it is so high up and each joint has a carving (see below) on it

Plaque in memory of all the British soldiers killed in the Boer War

A really old dude - he actually built the Spire and died somewhere around 1499 - this is his tomb

Crossing the road to the bus stop which is next to the Norwich Castle

And off home ... at the front, upstairs on the No. 36 Double Decker bus ... something Faye and Ewan were right chuffed about!

Now Hayzel and I are off to Tescos to get stuff for our picnic tomorrow at Framlingham Castle.  The knights start fighting at 11am ... should be fun.   I got Ewan an English Lions Sheild and wooden sword, so he's pretty much kitted out.
