Chef Ewan

Faye had a play date with some of her school friends this afternoon and Ewan was a bit fed up that he wasn't doing anything different or special.  So when we were back at the house, I got out the cheese and onion bread mix and helped him make the rolls.  He basically did it all himself and was very proud of the finished results - oh, and they taste really good!

We've all had quite bad flu, coughs and what not for at least a week, only starting to feel better today - although not a hundred per cent.  The kids are on half term break for this week.    We are going to be making Halloween crafts tomorrow.

I have booked a stall at the Church fair and am also making lots of different things that we will sell (hopefully) on the day.  When I've finished with the things I'm making at the moment, I'll take some pictures and put it all up here.  I have put a few images on Whatsapp as I've done things but I've actually lost count of what I've made and there is a lot of stuff. So far I've made jewellery (handmade paper and plastic bag beads), crocheted beanies, ponchos, a woven ribbon baby blanket and other odds and ends. Hayzel has made some lovely Christmas wreaths. And today I also made Christmas hanging ornaments (jewelled snowflakes).

I've had a hair cut and it's now ORANGE ... but I like it - I'll try and post a photo when I'm feeling a bit braver.  Ally has some good news relating to a career move but more on that towards the middle of November.
